Nelson Mandela's autobiography. Simply one of those books that one should read.
A book written by Richard Van Emden about the last British survivor of the trenches, Harry Patch, who died recently at the age of 111. It's a poignant tale of an ordinary man who fought in the great war and lived to tell the tale - although he chose not to tell it until he was 100 years old.
John Major's version of the events that led to him becoming prime minister and his time in the job. A weighty tome that touches on the various shenanigans that go on in the political world. Certainly worth reading.
